Our Story: Crafting the Unconventional

POPRUS started with a simple belief: that popcorn — real popcorn, made with care — deserves better than it usually gets. So we went back to basics. We source whole-kernel, non-GMO corn, hand-pop it in small batches, and seal every jar fresh the moment it's ready. No shortcuts. No sitting in a warehouse. Just popcorn made the old way, arriving to you exactly as it left us.

What started as a commitment to craft quickly became a canvas for curiosity. The Butter came first — golden, velvet-rich, and impossible to fault. Then Salt & Pepper, sharp and rustic. Then Classic, quiet and perfect. And then Shawarma — our signature, our statement, and the flavor that made people stop and ask: where has this been all my life? Every new flavor we develop starts from the same place: what would happen if we made this the right way?

We're a small team based in New York, and we intend to stay that way. Small means every batch gets our full attention. Small means we notice when something's off — and we fix it. Small means the jar you open was made by people who genuinely care how it tastes. We're only just getting started.
